Technisonic has been notified by Motorola Solutions of the Release of a
Technical Notification identifying an issue wherein some APX-8000 radios operating
firmware:
Rev R31.XX.XX (R31.00.00 thru 31.02.00) radios have been observed entering into a
Continuous Power Cycling condition.

The APX-8000 transceiver is utilized in Technisonics TDFM-9000 and TDFM-9100
series radios.


At present Technisonic is not aware of any radios being delivered with the R31.XX.XX
rev of software. Therefore, this information is being presented as Preventive in
Nature.


Technisonic advises per the notification that operators DO NOT update their Motorola
firmware to Rev R31.XX.XX  at this time.


Radios that have been received from the factory with Rev R31.XX.XX firmware, should
be updated to the new release expected on January 17, 2024.
