Technisonic Announces New All-Band Analog Module For TDFM 9200/9300 Series Radios

RENO, NV- Technisonic Industries Ltd., an industry leader in the development, manufacture and support of special-mission airborne communications systems, announces it’s new All-Band analog module designed for it’s TDFM-9200 /9300 series radios.

Recognizing that the communication requirements of mission based aircraft continues to grow in both scope and capability, Technisonic recently under took the challenge posed by its federal, military and law enforcement operators to expand the band capability of it’s TDFM-9000 series radios. The result of this challenge is the all-new “T6” module. The T6 module fully supports the additional critical bandwidth’s that were previously only available separately. These include “Low Band” inclusive of 30 to 50 MHz, VOR Voice 108-117.9MHz allowing for legacy communications across provisioned VOR navigation facilities, VHF-Am “Airband” 118-156MHz, as well a UHF-AM 225-400MHz.

“The new T6 module represents a considerable jump in the communications spectrums now available in the TDFM -92 and 9300 products, by offering all analogs bands in one module, operators now will no longer need to balance FM vs. analog needs. This addition makes the TDFM-9000 series easily the most scalable and capable on the market”. Said Jim Huddock, Dir. of Business Development

Technically, the new T6 allows for both programming of channels via newly developed TDP software, or the operator can choose to program channels such a tower frequency, with the radio automatically defining the channel as simplex via the FREQ option, support of more complex programming such as setting PL Tones, and channel names the operator can choose the FPP option. Of course the ability to Scan and assign appropriate bandwidth spacing, 12.5Khz, 25KHz, 8.33KHz is fully supported by the T6.

Technisonic is very excited about the direction the TDFM line has taken the last few years, With the full integration of it’s MCP technology, which allows for the quick on-boarding of external radio sources such as Portables, and Satellite, to its advancement in firmware, allowing greater flexibility to enable or disable features by the end-user, to today’s announcement of the T6 Module, The TDFM-9000 series is now scalable up to as many as eight integrated radios in one package, all backed by the full support of the team at Technisonic.

Technisonics invites you to visit us at booth 301 during the Reno, NV APSCON, July 27th – 29th to see the full capability of the Technisonic TDFM-9000 product line on display, or contact Jim Huddock at
