Technisonic Communications is proud to announce its partnering with a leader in Tactical Displays, Macro-Blue, to bring the integration of the TDFM-9000 series radio into the Advanced Q-Series Display Systems. Recognizing strong synergies and mission focus across our companies, the collaboration of Technisonic and Macro-Blue brings an exciting new level of integration and Situational Awareness to mission aircraft.
Technisonic is excited about the possibilities that the new relationship with Macro-Blue represents. Law Enforcement, Forestry, Federal and EMS markets all utilize Macro-Blue’s displays. Being able to integrate mission comms into the tactical display creates operational flexibility and capabilities not yet available in the market. By uniting radio controls, alongside mapping, video, and mission data, Macro-Blue and Technisonic are redefining how aircrews communicate and execute their missions. “This is an exciting and next generation jump for Technisonic,” Said Jim Huddock Dir. Business Development.
Initially, we are focusing the new Q-series integration on the basic operational aspects of the TDFM-9000/ 9100/9300 series radios, such as the ability to manipulate zone, channel, volume, and selected radio task. While future integrations will include leveraging the considerable capabilities of the Q-series display, allowing far greater lay-out and operational flexibility than the standard TDFM display permits.
By utilizing existing connectors, integration will be possible across MCP capable 9000 series radios with a simple firmware upgrade. When integrated with a Macro-Blue Display, the TDFM and even existing RC’s retain full control and functionality as well.
You’re invited to come see the new TDFM / Macro Blue integration at APSCON Phoenix July 14-18th. Where we are excited to be jointly displaying both in the Technisonic’s Booth (# 803) and in Macro-Blue’s booth (# 1114). We invite you to come visit with us to see the next generation in integrated mission communications.
