Technisonic is Celebrating 30+ Years of Continuous Support of USFS Airborne Firefighting Operations

Technisonic wants to say Thank You to all the Operators, Pilots and Avionics Technicians that have made the TDFM-136 the #1 Forestry radio since it’s launch in 1996. To celebrate we’re providing everyone with a Free Update Package for all the TDFM-136B’s. This package includes both the new Version 2.0.0 Operating Firmware, as well as our All-New TDPx programing software. Together, they bring greater channel capacity, control, reliability and simplicity to all aspects of the 136B.

The New 2.0.0 software features includes:

** Increases the memory capacity from 250 to 500 Channels

** Includes updated Visual Heat Warnings to pilots, when radio reaches certain temperature thresholds

** A new feature that allows the Guard module to directly select any of the available memories instead of having to use “Copy Main to Guard”

NEW TDPx Programming Software:

The new TDPx software has been designed for easier connection, simpler interface, and programming with Remove and Insert Channel features. The new TDPx software is fully compatible with your TDFM-136B, and allows access to all 500 channels available via this upgrade.

**SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS & NOTES **

A standard 136B Programming Cable is required.

Included in this upgrade package is special Front Panel upgrade software, which requires a TDFM-136B Display Update Cable. This software is only required if your operations utilize more than 16 Scan Zones, Please see READ ME FIRST file in the  Front Panel software folder of the download page.
