TSC-4400

This 19-inch rack-mountable, fully synthesized single channel transceiver takes advantaged of sophisticated technology to provide operation on any valid aeronautical band channel from 118 MHz to 138 MHz with either 25.0 kHz or 8.33 kHz channel spacing. The TSC-4400 is supplied with simple PC programming software and a programming cable that allows the user to select any 25.0 kHz or 8.33 kHz operating channel within the band. A 20 dB transmitter isolator to suppress transmit intermod in areas of high RF traffic is standard. The TSC-4400 outputs 50 watts (200 watts PEP) of transmit power, adjustable down to 7 watts. Power supply requirement is 115 VAC or 230 VAC with automatic switchover to 48 VDC battery backup (optional). An internal line interface card can be configured to operate with industry standard remote key systems over dedicated 2 or 4 wire 600 ohm lines. This exceptional base station will provide reliable aeronautical band coverage when used in conjunction with a wide band base station antenna.
