Analog Airborne FM

Technisonic’s TFM line of Airborne Radios is the choice for analog radio communications. Based upon current technologies and capabilities, the TFM line encompasses most FM analog bandwidths in either Single Band or Multi-Band configurations. Its small size, light weight, and the simple installation process make the TFM series of self-contained radios an ideal fit.

NOTE: The TFM-66, -556, and -566 are not FCC or IC approved and are therefore not available for use in North America.

** As of January 1st , 2013, the FCC will no longer allows transceivers to be delivered to the USA that are capable of wide band (25 kHz) channels spacing in the commercial 2 way mobile / base sections of the VHF and UHF bands.

Single Band Radios

TFM-138B/ 138

The TFM-138B / 138 Series is a frequency agile airborne VHF/FM High Band transceiver which operates from 138.000 MHz to 174.000 MHz, providing for either 12.5 kHz (narrow band) or 25.0 kHz (wide band)** channel spacing.

TFM-30

The TFM- 30 is a frequency agile airborne VHF/FM Low Band transceiver which operates from 30.000 MHz to 50.000 MHz, providing for either 12.5 kHz (narrow band) or 25.0 kHz (wide band)** channel spacing.

TFM-403

The TFM-403 is a frequency agile airborne UHF/FM High Band transceiver operates from 403.000 MHz to 512.000 MHz, providing for either 12.5 kHz (narrow band) or 25.0 kHz (wide band)** channel spacing.

TFM-66

The TFM-66 from Technisonic is a single band VHF/FM transceiver designed to operate from 66.000 MHz to 88.000 MHz at the high end of the General Service VHF Low Band.

TDFM-9100 T6

The 9100-T6 Combines Technisonics new -T6 module into the 9100’s simple, lightweight chassis. Capable of supporting All Civil Analog Bands, Low Band, VOR Voice, Airband and Military UHF the -T6 is capable of supporting Aviation, SAR and Military operations around the world.

TFM-500

The TFM-500 is a dual band frequency agile airborne VHF and UHF FM transceiver. This transceiver operates from 138 to 174 MHz and from 403 to 512 MHz providing 12.5 kHz (narrow band) or 25 kHz (wide band)** channel spacing on both bands.

TFM-530

The TFM-530 is a dual band frequency agile airborne FM transceiver designed to provide crisp communications on every available channel in the VHF Hi (138 to 174 MHz) and the VHF Lo (30 to 50 MHz). It provides 12.5 kHz (narrow band) or 25 kHz (wide band)** channel spacing on both bands.

TFM-550

The TFM- 550 is a three band, frequency agile, airborne VHF/UHF FM transceiver intended to provide radio communications on every channel currently available in the VHF low band (30 to 50 MHz), VHF high band (138 to 174 MHz), and the UHF band (403 to 512 MHz). It provides 12.5 kHz (narrow band) or 25 kHz (wide band)** channel spacing on all bands.

TFM-566

The TFM-566 is a dual band, frequency agile airborne FM transceiver designed to provide radio communications on every available channel in the VHF General Service Hi band (138 to 174 MHz) and the International VHF Lo band (66 to 88 MHz).

TFM-556

The TFM- 556 is a three band, frequency agile, VHF/UHF airborne FM transceiver designed to provide communications on International VHF low band (from 66 to 88 MHz), VHF high band (138 to 174 MHz), and UHF band (403 to 512 MHz).

TAK-100

The TAK-100 Air Attack Kit from Technisonic is a product designed specifically for the US Forest Service to provide supplementary communications as required by USFS for fire fighting operations in fixed-wing aircraft.

RC-500/550

The Technisonic RC-500 remote control head provides for remote slaved operation of the TFM-500 dual band transceiver while the RC-550 remote control head provides the same function for the TFM-550 three band transceiver.
